Every once in a while I’ll get a #feetfriday on my explore page and as a non-dancer was FLOORED at how broken their wee feet become!! It’s such a stark contrast to how beautiful their movements are.

This is exactly how it is for the mental illness that has the highest mortality rate- anorexia. We get so distracted by the emaciated female stereotype we forget someone can 100% be in a larger body and still have a restrictive eating disorder. This is atypical anorexia. They have all the symptoms of anorexia, yet without the low body weight. Their condition is just as real, just as medically severe, just as in need of intensive treatment, and often goes unnoticed.

Here is the recipe from yesterday's post. 💕 Fee Here is the recipe from yesterday's post. 💕 Feel free to add chicken for heft 👍🏽 Cook barley (simmer 15ish min). Blanch green beans for 5ish min (blanch just means boil until veg is bright green and more tender but still crisp), drain, run under cold water to stop cooking. Then add all ingredients (except lemon) in a bowl and toss to combine. In a separate bowl, mix your dressing. Drizzle over salad and mix well. Now add your lemon 🍋

Also, to all my California friends- praying for you and those fires!
Hey- should I put recipes on the blog or here or F Hey- should I put recipes on the blog or here or FB?? Because this salad- ❤️. It is nutty and sweet and acidic. Could be a great salad to take to someone who just had a baby or is sick. I would have just gone at it from the pot with a fork, but I added chicken and threw it into a wrap with hummus & spinach so Andrew would feel more full 😜
